OTC in the News: Breakfast of Champions
I’ve been trying to figure out what useful information I could add to our chapter blog, which Robin already does such a wonderful job of maintaining. Sadly, the only thing I could think of relates to my own area of expertise — media relations.

For this year’s Breakfast of Champions, our Financial Development folks changed things up a bit. The honored heroes better reflected Oregon’s diversity, the “in the round” format was more intimate and the staged vehicles and cots helped create a true Red Cross atmosphere.
All these changes helped bring some different media attention to the event. Here’s just a taste of what’s been in print — there was also coverage on KXL radio and there’s more coming in El Hispanic News, The Jewish Review and elsewhere.
