This carnation has been sitting on the information desk since the week of April 27th. (I know because we gave these carnations to volunteers for National Volunteer Week.) Every day I walk past it, and today I realized it had been there nearly a month. So I had to take a photo. Man, that’s one hardy flower!

Oh, and that reminds me! Speaking of National Volunteer Week, we actually have another volunteer recognition thing coming up. At our annual meeting we’re going to honor outstanding volunteers from this past year.
