On July 21, a family had a fire in their house in Dayton. When the volunteers arrived they helped the family of 9 with:

–3 nights stay in a nearby motel.
–A client assistance card to shop for food, clothing, and prescriptions.
–Comfort kits for the adults, containing razor, soap, shampoo, washcloth, toothbrush,
toothpaste, comb, and Kleenex.
–Comfort kits for the children, containing soap, shampoo, washcloth, comb, toothbrush,
toothpaste,Kleenex, coloring book and crayons.
–Stuffed animals to comfort the children.

On Aug, 3, a family had a fire in their mobile home. When the Red Cross volunteers arrived they helped the family of 2 with

–One night stay in a nearby motel.
–2 adult comfort kits.
