Okay, so you’ve spent all day thinking about a hero story. And, coincidently, today’s Oregonian had a PERFECT example.

You really have to read it to believe it, but the story involves a washed out road, an SUV in a swollen creek, an electric fence, hypothermia and a totally heroic 11-year-old girl whose actions saved two families.

Read it. And then think about who you know that might be worth nominating.
