So you’ve been on pins and needles wondering who’s winning the Civil War Blood Drive, right? Well, if you’re an OSU Beavers fan, you’ll be pleased to know that, well, you’re kicking some UO Duck booty.

The current tally shows the Beavs leading with 2,445 units of blood and platelets donated, while the Ducks have donated a total of just 1,161 units. Still, last year, the Ducks triumphed and won the trophy with a lead of 188 units….so the competition is far from over.

No matter what team you’re rooting for, you have until November 22 to donate blood and cast a ballot for your favorite team. As an added bonus, each presenting donor who fills out an honor roll ballot is entered to win two tickets to the Civil War football game in Corvallis. You’ll also take home a Civil War banner ink pen.
