While Lise is off frolicking with costume-clad volunteers at the Red Cross convention in Baltimore, we’re having our own celebration of sorts. The Family and Friends Blood Drive. Down in the atrium employees (and their friends and family members) are giving blood and feasting on cookies from the bake-off. This is a quarterly event, and some employees donate every time it comes around. But for some, like our ever-cheery registrar Franki Williams, today was a first. Franki was a model blood donor, smiling the whole way through. She was done in no time too. Good job, Franki!

UPDATE: Blood Services exceeded their goal for the blood drive! And one of our favorite accountants, Sarah DeMartino, also let us document her donation adventure. Good job, Sarah! (I just added the photos to the slideshow).
