On Saturday, April 12, an adult and child had a fire in their apartment in SE Portland. When Red Cross disaster Volunteers arrived, they assisted the family by providing:
–3 nights stay in a nearby motel.
–A client assistance card to shop for food and clothing.
–2 comfort kits with shampoo, soap, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste and a package of kleenex.
–A stuffed animal to comfort the child.
