Our Chapter Disaster Action Teams were in action again. We responded to three family fires since last Friday, 23 May (the long weekend):

1. Two homeless persons had a tent fire in the Milwaukie area on Friday. They were assisted with food, clothes, motel and bedding. They are also looking at other Community Resources to get stable again.

2. A couple and one child in SE Portland were displaced Friday by a house fire that started in their basement. They were assisted with food and motel through the long weekend.

3. A couple and three children in NE Portland were displaced Monday, 26th, by a kitchen fire. They were assisted with food. Can stay temporarily with local relatives while working with their insurance adjuster.
