On Wednesday, July 16, 2008 an adult and 2 children had a fire in their house in Sandy. When the Red Cross volunteers arrived, they helped the family with:

–3 nights lodging in a nearby motel.
–A client assistance card to shop for food and clothing.
–A comfort kit for the adult, containing toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, Kleenex, shampoo,
soap, razor, and washcloth.
–Comfort kits for the children, containing toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, Kleenex, shampoo,
soap, washcloth, crayons, and a coloring book.
