The Mapstravaganza Continues…

Do timelines count as maps? I think they do. A timeline is sort of like a map of events.


Anyway, check out these disaster timelines that Claire B. Rubin, social scientist and disaster research consultant, has on her site. The above photo is just a tiny snippet of one huge timeline covering major events (everything from flu to hurricanes) and their policy outcomes. While the material may sound dry, sleek graphics and intuitive layout make these timelines fascinating to view.
