Just now, while searching for something completely different, I came across this website devoted to the history of Red Cross World War II medic helmets. And since we’ve been discussing the use of the Red Cross symbol in conflict situations lately I thought I’d share this with all of you. The site gives some interesting background info as well as photos (and even diagrams!) of various helmets for those of you more interested in design.
