Wow. I just listened to this song by Ellis Paul. 

It’s soulful, folk-driven, and pretty intense. I think you’ll recognize from the lyrics that it was written just after Hurricane Katrina.  And while the song has a sort of feel of helplessness, Ellis Paul has turned it into something very helpful.  He’s donating a portion of each sale of the live version to Red Cross hurricane relief efforts.
