Right now our CEO, Thomas, is in San Jose at a meeting of representatives from American Red Cross Chapters and from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) exploring ways that they can increase their international partnerships.

And man, they’re definitely thinking global. We got this email from Thomas this morning:

I’m delighted that the American Red Cross has recently developed a position paper on global climate change. This position paper focuses on the impact of global climate change on our work of helping prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies and disasters.
