On October 19, a family in Astoria had a fire in their house. When the Clatsop County Red Cross volunteers arrived, they assisted the family of four with:
–Lodging in a nearby motel.
–A client assistance card to shop for food and clothing.

On Oct. 29, 2008 a family in Tillamook had a house fire. When the Tillamook County Red Cross volunteers arrived, they assisted the family of 3 with:
–Lodging in a nearby motel.
–A client assistance card to shop for food, clothing, and storage container.
–Help to replace medicine lost in the fire.
–Adult comfort kits containing: comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shampoo, soap, Kleenex,
and washcloth.
