Closer To Home -

Okay, let’s bring our attention a little closer to home for a minute. I’ve noticed a slight upswing in the frequency of home fires in our area this week. (You probably noticed it too if you’ve been following us on twitter.)

I don’t know if they’re being caused by heaters, holiday decorations or other random factors, but let me just post these fire safety tips to cover all the bases:

– Fire safety with real Christmas trees

– Fire safety with fake Christmas trees: plastic and aluminum

– Candle safety

– Heater/fireplace safety

– Everything else home fire-related safety

Please look these over and pass them on to all your contacts. Let’s make this holiday season safe, happy, and totally uneventful.
