How Many College Projects Save Lives? This One Does!
Heart failure is not a phenomenon limited to older people. In fact, according to one study, approximately one case of sudden cardiac death occurs every three days in organized youth sports.
And that’s why this Duke University student decided to do something about it.
After two of her friends died from heart failure, Natasha Gupta decided to put together a free CPR/AED training program at Duke. She’s hoping to train all new students as they enter the university – meaning that within four years everyone at the school would be trained.
Now that’s amazing.
