We’re getting ready to launch a brand new Web site (note the AP style!) and, as loyal blog readers, you’re going to be among the first to see it.

The news will be posted here when it’s ready and, per the majority of your votes, it should be up at http://www.oregonredcross.org/ by the end of the week (fingers crossed).

For your viewing pleasure, I’m going to give you “sneak peeks” at the site all week long. Today, we’ve got the graphic promoting the blog, which will be on the home page. The graphic was created by the folks at Chapter Neighborhood — if you’re a designer who loves creating web buttons, get in touch and maybe we can do better!

P.S. In other news, I went out to lunch today with blog fanatic and one of my favorite volunteers, Roger Anthony. He will attest to the fact that I got a very important fortune in my cookie, which said, “YOU HAVE A SECRET ADMIRER.” As you can imagine, this is very exciting, so if you have any input on who my secret admirer might be, please pass it along.
