Another Theme Song Contender
So what did you do this weekend?
Like any good Portland music buff, I hit MusicFestNW. I caught quite a few good shows (Throw Me The Statue was my favorite) and I almost escaped without thinking even once about the Red Cross. Almost.
While seeing local band The Shaky Hands on Saturday night, they played a cover that seemed like another good contender for our theme song. While I can’t find their version online, here’s the original. Can you see why I picked it?

CCR cover! I second the motion for this as the theme song.
Nate, I’ll tell you what… If we ever get bands to put on a benefit show for our chapter, I’ll make sure to ask The Shaky Hands and request that they do CCR as their finale. Seems only appropriate!
