And speaking of maps (which you know I love), we’ve also been invite to speak at a local geo/tech conference called WhereCamp PDX next month – a local version of the WhereCamp that took place at the Googleplex in California this past May. We’ll likely speak about GPS technology in the field, communications, and projects like Together We Prepare Our Neighborhood (in which we mapped our disaster responses and identified neighborhoods with frequent fires so that we could target outreach to those areas.)
