If you’re an NPR fan, you might have caught today’s story about Red Cross volunteers coming from all over the country to help Texas with recovery efforts after Hurricane Ike.

In Brazoria (south of Houston), reporter Marisa Penaloza spoke with Oregon volunteer Linda Witbeck, who I believe is from Pendleton.
