At 4:00 am a family had a fire in there house in Portland. The family of 6 needed a place to stay, food to eat and some clothing. The Red Cross Volunteers assisted the family with:

–Two nights stay in a nearby motel.
–A client assistance card to shop for food and clothing.
–Comfort kits for the adults containing toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, shampoo, soap, Kleenex,
and a washcloth.
—Comfort kits for the children containing toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, soap, Kleenex, Shampoo,
washcloth, a coloring book and crayons.
