If you ever had any doubt that writers for The Office love the Red Cross, last night’s episode should put that to rest.

If you didn’t catch it, the Dunder Mifflin building (like the Sterling Cooper offices before them) held a blood drive. Sure, it was for some generic blood bank, but given their Red Cross love before, I’d like to think that was just an oversight.

Anyway, proving my point that people who give blood are sexy, Michael Scott met an overly talkative — but kind of endearing — lady while donating in the bloodmobile and couldn’t stop thinking about her for the rest of the day.

So much so that he was prompted to organize an office singles party on Valentine’s Day just to catch a glimpse of her again. Hmmmm…sounds a little like our Singles CPR event, no?
