Robin and I have another big night ahead of us…we’re off to the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Spotlight Awards!

These honors are given out annually to celebrate the best in PR for the region. Entries can be entire campaigns or specific tactics (say, a newsletter, annual report or speech) and, naturally, we entered Cross Blog.

Cross Blog has won a time or two before, but this particular award holds a special place in my heart. Why? Because I’ve NEVER won a Spotlight. Ever. And it’s killing me.

Sure, I’ve taken home runner-up PRSA Awards of Excellence and IABC Bronze Beacons and Silver Quills, but never a Spotlight. And I think that with Robin’s creativity and my competitive nature, we’ve totally got this year wrapped up.

So “cross” your fingers and hope for the best. We’ll try to Twitter the results right from the event, so be watching for the latest!
