Manikin of the future?

Meet SimMan 3G, an artificial human that gives advanced CPR and first aid feedback. This robot can convulse, go into cardiac arrest, bleed and secrete from its eyes…just to name a few. Exciting technology? Yes. Incredibly creepy? Absolutely.

BTW, we had a SimMan and SimBaby over at Emanuel when I was working there. I’ll bet they’d let us come check ’em out if we ever wanted to do so…

This type of technology offers realistic training opportunities and will prove to be a valuable education tool for CPR/First Aid classes.
